I just checked Amazon to see how The Drive Across Canada is doing, and was happy to see its first review gave it five stars, from a reader named Stave G.
“I loved this book,” he wrote. “It was a fun read; entertaining from beginning to end. I got to meet fascinating people, some still with us, many not. It’s a story about travel, Canada, people, and cars; all in a well-paced, well-written book. Some of the writing was very clever and worthy of re-reads. Some of the stories are happy; some are sad, and some are tragic. The maps were helpful, but I decided to follow the trip using a more detailed map. The photos were also very good. A large part of the book is the author’s journey and I thought this was excellent.
